Here are some of the ways by which we obtain the favor of the Lord:

By praying unto the Lord (Job 33:26).
By keeping the commandments of the Lord (Proverbs 3:1-4).
By seeking and finding God’s wisdom (Proverbs 8:35).
By diligently seeking good (Proverbs 11:27; 12:2).
By living righteously (Proverbs 14:9).

Getting through the day is sometimes the hardest obstacle many experience daily. When many people wake, thoughts start to wander and then it gets spoken, “how am I going to get through today.” When those words are release into existence, then life begins to breathe through them and take form. It might seem like the worse gut wrenching time in your life right now. Trust God, it will past. These aren’t wasted words, but true promises outlined in the word of God to remind us in our rough times.

God hadn’t forgotten about you. It might seem like a never ending circumstance you are going through but the Lord is telling you today, you will come out of this situation a better person.

Trust in Him today and forever. God will transform what you are feeling or looking at into something marvelous in no time.

Hang on to this scripture today:

Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. “Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls. “For My yoke is easy, and My load is light.”

Thinking back on the relationships, friendships, circumstances in my life. I can count the countless tines where something went wrong and I had no solution. That is where God showed up. There were times where break-ups hurt more than any physical pain. That is where God showed up. There were times when you are left looking around and everything you had is all gone. That is where God showed up. (more…)

You know, sometimes I just have a bad day. Does that ever happen to you? Do you ever feel like your day just can’t get any worse? Now, think quietly to yourself about the last time you had a bad day. Maybe you’re not having such a great day right now! How did you feel when you had a bad day? Angry? Frustrated? Hurt? Embarrassed? Sad? I have felt all those things, and I’m sure you have too. But there is something I want you to think about the next time you are having a difficult day. I call it ‘The three L’s of Life’. Can you guess what they are? (more…)

The Apostle Paul put it this way: “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.”

Reality tells us that we will experience problems in life. However, if we go through them while knowing God, we can react to them with a different perspective and with a strength that is not our own. No problem has the capacity to be insurmountable to God. He is bigger than all the problems that can hit us, and we are not left alone to deal with them. (more…)

When you become a believer, God implants a desire in your heart to please God. God gives you a desire to fulfill the purpose you were created to fulfill. The desire of an unbeliever is to please himself first and foremost, but the desire of a believer is to please God first and foremost. If you’re living life with a me-first please myself mentality, you’re headed down a dead-end street, you’ll never fulfill the potential God created you with. But that can change and you can become a God pleaser, you can become someone who serves God. (more…)

I recently received several questions or inquiries in regards to bad thoughts, words, or curses in people’s mind directed at God. I would first like to share my experience. About 2 years ago when I gave my life back to Jesus after years of rebelling from greed, wanting power, etc, I was suddenly attacked in my mind. There were many words or thoughts entering and crossing my mind that were either bad, curse, or as I thought even blaspheming the Holy Spirit. I could not control my thoughts. I tried to say bad things about the devil to counter the bad thoughts of God. I was in fear of blaspheming the Holy Spirit. I thought I was the only one with this problem. In fact, I was ashamed of it. I felt alone and did not know how to ask others for help. But Christ had me in His thoughts. (more…)

It’s a hard lesson sometimes, but to get our complete attention God has to allow things to occur in our lives to realize we need Him. We are born into a world where dependence falls on our own ways and relying on someone else becomes very uncomfortable. (more…)
