When Jesus bore our sins to the cross, he not only gave us eternal salvation, but created a path to God that no one else in existence have ever accomplished. Jesus tells us everyday, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, No One comes to Father but by Me. Only Him. Only Jesus. (John 14:6)
Most people try to come up with their own ways of reaching God and bypasses what Jesus did, who He is, and what He represents. God wants us to accept His Son as our savior. He gave up His Son as a sacrificial a Lamb for our sins. So when you overlook Jesus and try to connect to God directly, how do you think He feels?
Many naysayers of Jesus Christ have said by their works they can get to Heaven. (Ephesians 2:8) Others have said God hears everyone cries and will never leave nor forsake them. The word does say God hears our cries, but (and that is emphasized) when He tells us to do something and we decide to do it our own way, do you think He will accept us?
No way that is possible. It repeatedly mentions in the bible that everything we know of this world and what exists belongs to Jesus Christ. God has placed him in charge of everything that exist in earth and in Heaven. (1 Corinthians 10:26 “for, The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.”) Do I need to go any further?
This is that time beloved, to acknowledge there is only one way to Heaven and one way to God. Jesus is the answer so make Him the center of your life.
