Have you ever sat back and thought about how much God loves us? We disobey, hate, kill, envy, judge, condemn each other, unforgiving, and the list can go on and on. But you get the point. With all that we show each other on a daily basis, God on the other hand gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ as a sacrifice for all past, current and future sins. So why don’t we show God that same love through obedience?

When you look at the entire John 3:16 verse, we are reminded through these words that what God promises to do, He does with big fashion. God didn’t say I’m gonna send His Son to forgive a few people or list specific sins, but for many people and all sins.

That’s how much His love for us stretches. Through confession of your sins, you are forgiven!

Name a person on earth that shows that much kindness? There is none and will never be.

So when you feel the need to show hate, judge someone, or turn your back on someone, remember how God treated you with your imperfections, flaws and most importantly your constant sinning.

God stands strong on His promises.

It’s time for us to show a grateful heart and start living in obedience.

  2. Good mornining Librado. Great post! I purpose daily to be faithful and pleasing unto God. But I realize I can to nothing in my own strength. I pray “The Lord’s Prayer” daily, in which we ask to be forgive of our debts as we forgive our debtors, (Matt. 6:12). I know that God is faithful to forgive. He understands our weakness. We can do nothing without God. Salvation is a wonderful gift to receive, God has forgiven all of our sins, past, present and future. That keeps us from worrying and having condemnation as to whether or not God has forgiven us; not only has He forgiven us, but He remembers our sins no more. We got a pretty good deal receiving salvation in the name of Jesus. God loves us inspite of ourselves. I thank God for His grace and mercy! Have a blessed day my friend!
