What we sometimes fail to believe is nothing that was done on our part earned salvation. Earned grace. Earned God’s love. Earned mercy. If you disagree, please share what was agreed upon between you and God. We received an advocate in Jesus Christ that waits on our call in the time of trouble. We don’t have to scream to get His attention. As Jesus promised, He is right there so no need to be troubled.

Let’s look at it a little further.

Jesus’ name is stamped and sealed on our hearts once we receive Him as our Saviour. It’s a gift that can’t be recalled, returned, cast away, but a life time commitment between us and God.

Think back on that day when you accepted Christ as your Savior. That day was recorded and filed away in Heaven as one of God’s children. At that same time a party was going on for your reception.

A great friend and partner to the ministry @ellencinci always tells me what her Pastor says, “God is a partying God!”

Jesus Christ nothing short of amazing to all who believe.

When you need Him, never short of answering. Doesn’t hold grudges. But wants the best for us all the time.

Let Jesus be the center of it all.

  1. SaintlySages says:

“What must I do to inherit eternal life?” Christ’s answer: Obey the Commandments (Mt 19:16ff; Mk 10:17ff; Lk 18:18ff). God bless!
