It’s easy to get discourage after a breakup, not being loved in a relationship, or being rejected by someone you feel in your heart is the right person for you. Many will say, “that’s life and that is part of it’s disappointments,” but God is saying today, He comforts the brokenhearted.

I can look back most recently in my life where I thought I did all the right things in a relationship, giving my all, wanting to please the significant other. But it wasn’t enough. My tears couldn’t shed even more after feeling rejected. At the time I could not see the end to the stream of emotions I developed.

But I did, through God’s grace and His unfailing promise over His children that trust in Him.

I had to learn painfully how to let go and give it to God.

It’s never easy. We get past one breakup and work up the nerve to extend ourselves to others who we are attracted to and can vision ourselves with, and find out those feelings aren’t reciprocal or that person is just not thinking on that level you thought.

The pain of rejection comes upon us that is sharper than any physical pain you can experience. You can’t understand it and questioning now, what God’s true plan is for your life.

Well beloved, even when we experience these things. God promises us to comfort us and allow us to move forward trusting in the steps He ordered, but most importantly, what you experienced is going to work out for the good.

It’s a promise!

That simple. It’s God’s promise over you and me today. It’s time we give God our pain and allow Him to continue to carve out the future He always envisioned over your life.
