What is one of greatest enemies that all of us fight against on a daily basis is fear. As children of God we are told that fear does exist but we should keep our eyes continually on Christ to avoid accepting it. Easier said than done right?

We are beings and there is someone called the devil that wants to tell us otherwise. He will tell us that fear is within us and it’s part of every decision we make, circumstances we experience and apart of our future.

And…we believe it.

But The apostle Paul reminded is assistant Timothy in a time when the young teacher was on is own to teach the gospel to many and needed encouragement. It’s not that Timothy’s faith was weak, but in a time of doubting if we can do something, fear always creeps it’s ugly head and tell us “No.”

Today God through His Son Jesus Christ tell us that the spirit of fear does exist, but as children of God we don’t have to accept it. It was not given to us.

“We we’re given spirits to conqueror all situations. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control…”Galatians 5:22, 23

So tell fear you are no longer a prisoner to it. You are not fighting with it anymore. Today you are a new person and goodbye to fear. It’s not of you and can never be unless you accept it.

Goodbye Fear!
