One of the hardest thing to do is wait. Many can identify with these examples: When we order a pizza over the phone we can’t restrain in anticipation of receiving it. Ordering an item online and getting impatient when told it would be delivered in three days. We aren’t made in the flesh to wait.

Holy Spirit time.

King David understood the importance of waiting on the Lord to answer our prayers. The Psalmist went on to say God will renew our strength when we begin to complain, get agitated or lose hope on our outcome.

The Apostle Paul experienced the same situation and while he waited on God to answer his prayers, he was granted a comfort of peace from the Lord that surpasses all understanding.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6, 7 NKJV)

Continue to wait on the Lord and let The Lord comfort you in your time of need.

Waiting is one of the hardest things for us to do because we live in a world of instant gratification. However, God always has something in the waiting, if only we will seek Him. Blessings!
