One of the greatest challenges we have in life is connecting our mind and heart to produce the right thoughts when we are in a storm or detrimental situation. As the wonderful promises of God tells us, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…”

What are you thinking about yourself this morning? What are your thoughts focused on? Loss relationship, passing of a family member, job loss, financial issues, bad breakup?

If you place your focus on having a determined mind to grab a hold of your thoughts, you will begin to see changes in your life. We always hear the mind is the battlefield. But if you grab a hold of your thoughts before you enter the battle you will be well equipped to win.

Every time. Not on occasion, but every time.

But you might say, “well it’s not easy” Well it’s not easy, but with understanding our promises and allow Christ to bring our thoughts into captivity before we start a physical action, we will find ourselves ready for any challenges, setbacks or circumstances.

Don’t rely on yourself to develop these thoughts. “Ask and it shall be given.” Ask The Lord today and begin to see changes for the better in your life.

This is my problem, I can’t control my thoughts. Thanks for this post, I can pick lessons that can help me. 😉 keep it up!

    • It’s a decision as soon as you open your eyes in the morning that you are going to gave a good day or I am over this problem….being determined that no matter what things is going to work out for the good…..meditating on God’s promises. Three of my favorites are Jeremiah 29:11-14, Romans 4:19, and Proverbs 3:5-6… Start with those every morning and allow God room to work in your life…but attitude and thoughts comes with being determined
