Success is not what you have, but who you have. We live in a world where status is everything. From the type of designer that is on your feet to what underwear is suppose to be the best. We are defined by what we possess and not who we have in our hearts.

The apostle Paul spoke to his assistant Timothy about theses same things that are going on in the world right now. Paul delivered a message through Timothy to the churches that to seek godliness in life, because it’s very clear we brought nothing into this world and upon exit there will be nothing taken with us. (1 Timothy 6:7, 9-11)

“For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.” (1 Timothy 6:7, 9-11)

What are you holding onto in your life that defines you? When we choose to receive Jesus in our hearts, we begin to see the success start to show on the outside. Success is driven by who is driving the wheel of our lives and not the vehicle we own.

Take control of your success with Christ. Let others see how rich you are through your godliness faith and joy. Theses type of success cannot be taking away by no man but can continue to grow through Christ.

It’s yours today!
