Bible Verse Of The Day-Tuesday December 17, 2013

There is a story in the Bible that illustrates this very well. In the book of Numbers, Moses sent 12 trusted leaders into the future land of promise. As they surveyed the land, they ALL saw incredible supply. They saw grapes that were larger than anything they had ever seen. They saw abundant resources and provision that were far above anything they had ever experienced.

But what they also saw in front of them were giants. There were enemies who possessed the land who were larger and very intimidating.

I think that’s something we can all relate to. Even though God has made us great promises, many times we tend to focus on the giants. Your giant may be:

A relational disappointment you’ve recently experienced.
Your finances that haven’t turned out the way you hoped.
The fact that you’ve been sick.
A disappointment you can’t seem to get past.

Here is a question I would like to ask you: Are you ready to position yourself to see the “God of more than enough” come through and meet your need?

The starting point is your willingness to let go of fear and doubt and anxiety. Take hold of the fact that God loves you, has a plan for you and really does want to show Himself strong on your behalf.

He wants to defeat every giant. He wants to overcome every obstacle. And He wants to do exceedingly, abundantly above all you ask or think!
