My soul also is greatly troubled; But You, O Lord —how long? (Psalms 6:3 NKJV)

I was reading what Psalmist David wrote in Psalm 6, where He asked God, “How long will you take to heal my trouble soul? (V3) David was in a despair state, and even with being known for having such strong faith, he went through some troubling times, wondering how long will this take to end.

We all go through those tough times, where we want to question God and His intentions or the purpose of this storm that hangs over your head. But just as how David questioned God, He also remembered who He was and The Lord he served.

We must remember who we are in Christ and know that we possess everything within to withstand any storm, battle, circumstances. God promised us through His Son Jesus Christ, that Victory is in our hands.

As you continue to press on in life, questioning God can and will happen, but you must remain still during those times and let the course of the Lord’s action fulfill His purpose.

God loves you no matter what and remember there is a divine purpose behind every circumstance.
