Being patient and waiting for answers is not something we do well in the flesh. Our flesh seeks immediate solutions, discoveries and answers to life’s puzzle. Patience is something we possess in the spirit already. ( But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, Galatians 5:22 AMP) We don’t naturally exercise patience. God allows circumstances in our life in order to force us to show patience as we wait on The Lord to deliver us out of the situation.

Patience when used, brings you to a humble state. And as the word tells us “God resists the proud but exalts the humble.” “Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God and He shall exalt you in due time.”

It all starts with us pushing ourselves to use patience in our trials. The Lord can identify with us in that position of humbleness and begin to work on the situation. God is extremely merciful, but wants us to be in a certain position when we come before him when asking for help when it’s needed.

Believe in God and understand why we are being tested each and everyday. It’s not a source of punishment, but for our good and God’s purpose.
