God Doesn’t Change, Even When We Do

You also gave Your good Spirit to instruct them, And did not withhold Your manna from their mouth, And gave them water for their thirst. Forty years You sustained them in the wilderness; They lacked nothing; Their clothes did not wear out And their feet did not swell. (Nehemiah 9:20, 21 NKJV)

As I was reading the book of Nehemiah I started to think about how faithful the God is we serve. He still wants the best for us even when we turn our backs from Him. In Chapter 9 showed when God talked about His mercies He poured upon His people even when they showed disobedience, cruelty to others and may be the worst one out of all which is worshipping other gods.

Let’s apply that in today’s world. When you show anger towards someone, idolizing something or someone higher than God, and telling yourself there is no God because He cannot be seen, just to name a few, is another way of turning your back on the Almighty One.

If you fall into any of one of those categories someway, I need you to look back on your life, and take note of the fact that God never left you stranded when you turned your back on Him. God still provided clothing, food, shelter and other little things that kept a smile on your face.

That is how much He loves you. He adores you and want you to live the best life possible. Why not make that decision to get to know Him, or just get closer to Him?

Just imagine if you made that decision today what a difference it is going to make in your life?

If a God did all these things as your back was turned from Him, can you imagine what’s in store for you once you are drawing near to him?

The bible says, He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.

Make that choice today
