For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s. (Romans 14:7, 8 KJV)

On your journey each and everyday we constantly run into many businesses that provide a service. Gas stations, Supermarket, Clothing store-these places are in place to service people as they come into their establishment. But who are you servicing today? Servicing is an action word and it relates to the bible from Genesis to Revelation.

The bible shows us service by men and women historically servicing God. It says constantly in the bible that all of us are suppose to be involve in a service. Not just for the church leaders but for everyone that accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.

We are servants of God in some fashion, at least we ought to be. There is no excuse. Everyday we run across people that needs us to service them. Servicing is for everybody not for whom we feel needs it. When we say we serve-we are glorifying God not man.

Four three of service that challenge us to see how serious we are to serving God:

1) “Glamour less” service- Service that has no lights and glitter. Just God seeing your work not man.

2) “Selfless” service- Putting others before yourself. Putting yourself last. Saying, “I will look out for you, before I look out for myself.”

3)”Thank less” service- No thanks given when things are done it offered. Doing a service with No acknowledging gratitude given.
