I was sitting around and started thinking how wonderful Jesus is and a song came to mind. “I Don’t Mind Waiting On The Lord” by Juanita Bynum. That song brought up the love we should have for Jesus Christ for what He did on the cross. He bore our sins for nothing in repayment, only to reach and save our souls from eternal damnation. Why not wait for Him? Why not allow Him to be the center of your life?

When we go through our circumstances, exercising patience is one of the main ways we can show our faith in the Lord. His timing is not ours and His ways are not our ways! But when we demonstrate that God like patience, we are guaranteed to see the right outcome to our problems. He loves us that much.

Here are some bible verses that talks about waiting patiently on The Lord.

Proverbs 15:18
A hot-tempered man stirs up dissension, but a patient man calms a quarrel. (NIV)

Romans 8:24-25
We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it. But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.) (NLT)

Romans 12:12
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. (NIV)

Romans 15:4-5
For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus. (NKJV)

1 Corinthians 13:4–8a
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (NIV)
